Painting and Decorating students use their skills to help the community

We work really closely with the Brewers Decorator Centre in Bletchley to refurbish and breathe new life into local community spaces.

Last year they gave a makeover to Woughton Community Hall and the event space at Milton Keynes Central Library.

Using paint and supplies kindly donated by Brewers, the students worked to the brief, and led by their tutors, did a fantastic job at both spaces.

The library was very pleased with the end result and the professionalism shown by the students, Helen Bowlt, Libraries Services Manager at MK Council said:

“The students have done an excellent job and I’m pleased that we’ve been able to play a small part in developing their professional qualifications. We wish them luck with their future careers.”
